Pit Bulls For Christ is a rescue ministry set forth by SOLDIERS FOR CHRIST M/M to raise awareness and fairness in society for a forgotten bread, PIT BULLS. Pits are great family and children friendly dogs with a bad reputation from the dog fighting world to the street idiot who trains these beautiful creatures to be attack dogs. Though PITS are great for protection and security dogs they are very impressionable and loyal to their upbringing. If you train a pit to love he will, you train him to attack humans for foolish pride they will, you train them to fight they will. Unfortunately people have abused and exploited this bread of dog for so long that society has developed a fear that the P.B.F.C. PIT/MINISTRY will hopefully help to subside. Pit bulls are misunderstood and under appreciated. I have 4 children who all grew up with pit bulls in the house. Our first was a rescue off the streets of Detroit, "CHOPPER" he was all bones, mange, and limping. I never thought he'd make it, but with the love of my wife and i including our (at the time) 2 children he made an amazing recovery. We prayed for this dog continually and nurtured him as if he were our child, with GOD'S grace he over came parvo, worms, heart worms and grew to be the most loving and friendly pet a family with children could ask for. Our second was a partial rescue. REMI, was left at a store in the Metro Detroit area owned by a friend of mine. I come in on my oldest sons birthday and as cute as a button was this 4ish month old pit on my friends counter. He immediately asks me if i want a dog, jokingly i said "ya". Well jokes on me he asked if i was serious and of course i was just as serious as i was joking. My friend and his co-workers helped me name the dog, "REMI" as it is, i brought him home as a gift from my friends at MACS, and he is now a long standing member of my family, including extended family and was extremely well behaved and accepting to our new born son from the baby blankets in his cage(while training), to the babys homecoming and all the way through our childrens growing and learning. REMI is loves and cherished by my children and children throughout the world, they play with him, miss him when were not home, and he feels the same about them. Also all other dogs have been welcomed by REMI on numerous occasions, both in public and family settings. I am proud to say that SOLDIERS FOR CHRIST M/M is working their way up in the mission to save pit bulls from bully owners, from abandonment, abuse, neglect, unprovoked fear from society and especialy from the myth that they are mean or viscious animals. In fact their not animals at all, they feel, the cry, the laugh, they play, THEY LOVE, AND CRAVE LOVE!!! And are truely the most loyal and caring friend you could ask for. And yes they can be 100% rehabilitated from neglect and cruelty. So join the fight for the babies, boys n girls who cant speak for themselves, the pit bulls. We are their voice!!!
